Cocker spaniel mix

The Poodle and Cocker Spaniel Mix: The Cockerpoo is a mix of the Poodle and the Cocker Spaniel. If you want to determine the temperament of mixed breeds, then you need to look up the antecedents of all the breeds in the cross, to find out what the chances are of getting any combination of any of the characteristics found in either dog breed. The Cockerpoo is a hybrid cross, which is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club. All the designer hybrid dogs are just 50% purebred. Breeding multi-generation crosses is very common among breeders. There are several Cockerpoo clubs that are working to make this hybrid cross a purebred dog through multi-generation crossing, while there are other breeders who are sticking to the basic Cocker/Poodle mix, as they want to preserve the heterosis effect in this mix. These dogs have a slightly wavy coat or curly hair. They are very affectionate and love being with people.
The Labrador retriever and Cocker Spaniel Mix: The Spanador is a mix of the Labrador retriever and American Cocker Spaniel. There are two types of Labradors, the American Labrador and English Labrador. The English Labrador comes from an English bred stock. It is thicker, heavier and more blocky, while American Labradors are lanky and tall. Labs are muscular, solid dogs with a soft, water resistant coat in colors like black, yellow and chocolate. American Cocker Spaniels are equally suitable as household pets or gundogs. This breed is sweet natured, cheerful and sensitive. Cockers can fit well in an apartment setting, but only if they are adequately exercised. The Spanador, a Cocker Spaniel/Labrador retriever mix is a hybrid dog. Hybrids are a mix of more than one pure bred dog.
Cocker Spaniel and Dachshund Mix: The Dachshund is an elongated, short-legged breed which belongs to the hound family. Its name is German and it literally mean “Badger dog”. This breed was developed to chase, scent and hunt badgers and other hole-dwelling animals. It is often referred to as hot dog, sausage dog or wiener dog. In Germany, it is known as Tecket or Dacket. Loose skin, crooked legs and a barrel like chest physically characterize the modern Dachshund. It has a long tail, which is used as a handle by owners to aid in extracting the Dachshund from the burrow after catching the prey during hunting. There are three varieties of coats in a Dachshund: wire-haired, long-haired, and short-haired. These days, a mix of the Dachshund and Cocker Spaniel is becoming very popular. There are a lot of breeders who mix the Cocker Spaniel and Dachshund to create a new, interesting hybrid.
Beagle and Cocker Spaniel Mix: The Beagle is a sturdy, squarely built, small hound. It has an easy to care, sleek, short coat that comes in any hound color. This breed is a scent hound that is used to track bear, deer and other game. With a gentle disposition, it is a loyal and well-tempered breed. They are stubborn and hard to train because of their strong will, but at the same they are very intelligent. The Bocker is a hybrid that is bred by the mix of the Beagle and Cocker Spaniel. The American Canine Hybrid Club recognizes this mix of Cocker Spaniel and Beagle. Mixes of the Shih, Chihuahua, Bichon, Pug, King Charles and Golden retriever with the Cocker Spaniel are also available.
