The latest introduction to potbellied breed: Pennywell miniatures: The latest introduction in the potbellied miniature pig family is the Pennywell miniature, named after the farm in which they were bred. Five piglets can actually fit into a human palm at birth.
A British farmer in Devon is credited with the development of the Pennywell miniature pigs, which are bred to reach only half the size of a normal pig. The conventional pigs were crossbred with special pygmy pigs from New Zealand.
