To a certain extent, journalists are still not happy with the government interference and control over the media. The digital revolution has resulted in the modernization of Pakistani newspapers and media. Newspapers like the Dawn use the latest techniques for newsgathering, media guides, and production. Today, newspaper business in Pakistan is learning to cope with the daily challenges in order to emerge as the real voice of the nation.

It is simultaneously published from various cities - Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Multan in Pakistan and also from London – UK for circulation in Europe. The founder of Jang was Mir Khalil ur Rehman. Currently, his son Mir Shakil ur Rehman manages the affairs.
