The story revolves around a young aspiring actress who comes to a studio called ‘Miracle Pictures’. The studio is known to produce low budget films and she begins her acting career in their new venture titled ‘Machete Maidens of Manatau’. She meets the movie’s lead Mary McQueen, who is jealous of younger actresses. Then begins the action, with the killing of the starlets one after another and the story unfolds, culminating in a breathtaking shootout. The one hour and twenty-three minute ‘B’ movie produced by Roger Corman and New World Pictures is packed with adventure and action.

The Hollywood Boulevard cinema is also known as the Woodgrove Festival Cinema. It is operated by the General Cinema Chain and was originally a six screen multiplex cinema, in the mid 80’s. General Cinemas closed down the Woodgrove Festival Cinema in 1999. Later, it acquired the new name Hollywood Boulevard cinema. Two of the original six screens were removed to construct the cinema’s restaurant. Now, it has only four screens. You are able to dine while watching a full feature film at the Hollywood Boulevard cinema.
